insurancetpa.com InsuranceTPA or Core insurance(a partner) will charge you when you even tell them you dont want their insurance Lubbock, Texas

I contacted insurancetpa.com (along w/ a few other companies) to find health insurance for myself when I found out that I had an unexpected pregnancy.  I could not find coverage w/ any other company.  that is because NO insurance company in Nebraska will take a pregnant woman, you have to go thru medicaid.  I found this out after a day and a half of phone calls.  BUT, in the meantime, I was in contact with Aaron(a representative for insurancetpa.com) and he told me that "luckily he had found a carrier, Core, that would take me"  and gave me the cost, and told me he would email the coverage once i signed up.  this sounded shady, but in good faith I gave my credit card number because he said that he needed it to hold the offer and that I could call him the following day w/ my final decision.  well, sadly- that night I had a miscarriage.  So, you can imagine my emotional roller coaster.  I went from finding out on Sunday that I was pregnant to having a miscarriage on Thursday night.  All of this happened in a week and in the meantime I am speaking w/ one d****ebag insurance company representative after another, especially Aaron.  So, the first thing I did Friday a.m. was call insurancetpa.com to tell Aaron that i would not need the insurance we had spoke about the day before and that he could cancel my application and the hold on my policy.  He, in his most d****ebaggy voice goes"but ms. %#$%, you are pregnant and have no insurance" To which I said, "that is my business but since you brought it up, I had a miscarriage last night, thanks for making me explain myself to someone I dont even know".  He unsincerely apologized and said that he would take care of the issue and assured me that no charges would show on my card.  Well we all know that, low and behold, here it is monday a.m. and I am checking my statement and they insurancetpa.com DID charge my account over the weekend after Aaron told me they wouldn't.  And to make me even more irrate, when I called them to ask what is going on...first, they couldn't even find me in their system (because my policy hasnt even taken effect, though they kindly have charged me for the service I am not receiving) second, once they did finally find me in the system all they did was give me the number to Core, who is the company they say agreed to give me coverage.  I tried to call Core and all it does is ring and ring.  I called back and tried every option; customer service, claims, etc.  they all just continued to ring and ring.  no answer at all.  so now I have googled core and insurancetpa.com only to find complaint after complaint about their lack of customer service and denial of insurance claims.  I can see how that would sound about right considering my experience and inability to get a hold of anyone.  Luckily, my credit card company, has agreed to file a claim to help me get my money back and is going to bat for me on this.  I can only wonder what would have happened had I not miscarried and went ahead w/ the policy.  I believe that they would NOT have covered the pregnancy and did attempt to sell me a policy under fraudulent business practices.  I say attempt because once again I reitterate that I called and told them not to go ahead and that I did not want their coverage, which they went ahead and completely disregarded.  I would much rather be out the initial payment then to have delivered a child believing my insurance would have covered the hospital and medical costs only to be stuck w/ the bill along w/ the steep insurance premium this lying company tried to pass off on me. Please, please look into this company.  It is stuff like this that the american people are tired of rolling over and taking from big insurance companies (and any other fruadulent companies like this one).
