Hair Cuttery STOLE MY MONEY LIbertyville Illinois

 I purchased product from Hair Cuttery 4 days ago and paid using my debit card. Later, I remembered I have someone who can get me the same product at the beauty supply house for 1/2 of what I paid. With receipt in hand, I tried returning the unopened, unused product. Hair Cuttery has a policy that unless you used a credit card for payment, returns will be given in the form of a gift card. This is POOR business. I'm not a customer there, I will NEVER use a gift card there. I paid cash and I want cash back!!!!!!

They will re-shelf this product, make their $40 and then make an additional $40 off the gift card they are forcing me to take, therefore, making $80 off a $40 purchase. What other business doesn't give you your money in the same form you paid???? I could understand if I didn't have the receipt and they had no way of knowing how long ago I bought the product but I DID have the receipt and the lady actually said, "Oh yeah, you were in here Saturday!" So, word to the wise, IF you're dumb enough to support a business like this, use your credit card because it's the only way you'll get your money back in the event you want to return something!
