Get A Room Guest Resources They advertised a lower hotel room price than other sites and then after confirmation tacked on an amount equal to over 60% of the total room price for “taxes & fees.” Taxes & fees for other sites were 12-14% of the total room price. So the GetARoom price ended up at $423 vs $307 for sites with higher room prices. Dallas Texas

getaroom.com This site deceptively appears to be the hotel's legitimate site adhering to the hotel's cancellation policy. However, after stating that the reservation is subject to the hotel's cancellation requirements, it adds that it is non-refundable and they will not modify the reservation, even though the hotel is perfectly willing to change it or refund the payment.
