Sean Toal, the salesman for Doug Davis and his Ameritrain Computer Skills school uses grandiose promises of excessive income and computer training as a tool to steal from aspiring individuals who are desiring IT education. Once they have your money and blow you through a Boot Camp taining school, they are done with you, and will hear no complaints about it. No help to get a job, none. they lure you in with promises to get you placed, but the reality is that the education is not sufficient, and they cannot help you and will not help you find employemnt in IT. I incurred a total of $25,000 debt, and could not find anyone who would hire me for my new skills. They all wanted 2 years experience plus the certifications in hand, nothing less. This was never mentioned in the sales presentation, nor in signing the loan documents... it was all about your next income level. Complaining did not good at all.

While Doug Davis and his clothes and jewelry paraded around the classrooms with his version of Naomi Campbell, nothing was ever said about a money back guarantee, because his students would have all deserved it. The classes were an exercise in speed reading, and the aftermath was an exercise in avoiding bankruptcy. This was a scam like I have never seen before. they wanted nothing to do with me or giving me any assistance in getting a job once I was done. Insultingly dismissive, I had to work two jobs for several years to pay off the debt, and none of those jobs were in IT because the potential employers stated that it was all about already having the  IT certifications PLUS the two years experience, DAMMIT!!!
