So recently I tried to buy a level 80 Herald of Xotli for Age of Conan from accountgear.com and it's all went to hell. They claim that 95% of deliveries occur within 60 minutes, and at maximum it won't take more then 48 hours. Well, it's been over 48 hours now. 

Live chat is NEVER online, and they haven't responded to ANY of my emails. They responded to a pre-sales question I had asking them if they had the account that I wanted in stock, they answered yes. However, once I bought it they get all silent and I haven't received a reply since. I emailed them probably 3-4 times in the span of 48 hours, asking them for a.) my account or an account of equal value or b) a refund. 

I've read other ripoff reports about these guys, and I saw that quite a few of them were resolved, but I don't know if that was an elaborate ruse by the company designed to delegitimize the real scam reports or if they were real people that had their problems fixed. 

I'll continue providing updates, it's hard to tell if it's a scam or if they just have really really horrid customer service. I'd encourage everyone to tread very carefully when dealing with this website, and gamewar.com a branch of accountgear.com 

My OrderID is 150564 - You can still see it's pending delivery.. as it's been for 2 days now.. yeah.. so much for a "slight delay".

They're legit.. they just have bad customer service.

I have tried like 6 different ways to contact these people. I ordered same time as you, showing pending delivery. What method did you receive communication back from them? Email? If so what address did you use?

I received my account. This site isn't a scam site, they just have really bad customer service and communication issues. 

If you buy from them, I caution patience, it could take up to a week before you get your account.

Your Order ID isnt being recognized anymore

Just checked the system to see if your order ID is not being recognized by AccountGear.com's Order Tracking page.  It shows that your order ID is not recognized.  This is also what im going through.  It looks like they just deleted us from the system like we never bought the accounts.  I hope these guys get whats coming to them. 

I'm filing on every scam site i can find to make sure people know not to buy from these guys.

I got an email from their "legal department" by "Mark Simpson"  over the remarks of this report. They're now putting my order on hold, indefinitely.

They seem to put a lot of effort into coming up with reasons to skirt around giving me my account, first they claimed I needed to click an email link from an email that they never sent me, and now it's against their Terms & Conditions to submit a Ripoff Report. 

They're using stall tactics, they're manufacturing problems in order to avoid giving me my account. They're making a simple process of emailing a username and password and complicating it to the extreme. 

I've given them 48 hours to hand over my account or I'm opening up a paypal dispute, I'm not playing their games anymore. 5 days to email me a username and password is generous, and I've been patient, but all I'm getting is the run-around.

Having the same issue

Hello,

I am having the same issue as you.  I just purchased the account Saturday 3/9/2013.  It is now 3/12 and i they have not sent me any account information and they ignore all emails.  Ive paid and been verified.  No emails stuck in spam folders.  They just went silent.  To make things worse, the account i purchased shows that its still for sale on their site.  Looks like a scam to me.   

I hope you get your money back or your account you purchased.  Im out 156.00 if i dont.  Ive sent them 5+ emails after i was verified but have gotten no response.  Now im worried about identity theft as well.

Well, after a lengthy email conversation, they said: "Still working on the issue and no further work is required on your end. We will proceed with your delivery and instead of requesting information for us to change on the Funcom Account, we will have you manually do it on your end."

However, when again asked on how long it will be I received the silent treatment and haven't heard a reply since. So, I'm going to give it a few more days, probably until the end of the week then I'm opening up a paypal dispute and filing a report with ic3 and the local police department.

Well.. I finally got an email response after 72 hours.

They said:
"Did you receive our last e-mail with the link to login to your AccountGear Account. This is what we have been waiting on in order to proceed with your delivery."

However, no email was ever sent. My spam folder is empty, and my inbox only has the accountgear messages in it. I sent them another response.. but it looks like it'll be a few days before I get one back. Terrible customer service to say the least. You need every ounce of patience to deal with these people.
