Everything negative I have read about Storesonline at this website is true. I believe that anything positive has been written by Storesonline stooges.
You will never get any of the stooges to direct you to their "successful" websites because they just don't exist.
Hah! Here is an OPEN challenge. Tell us the www.address of your Storesonline hosted successful website.
This company (if you can call them that) came to Perth in Western Australia. They did presentations which sounded so wonderful. Unfortunately, everything they promised was false.
If you get sucked in by them (like I did) prepare yourself. You will spend a lot of money on false promises.
Their manuals are useless. If you do not understand HTML you will have to rely on them for everything - that will be very expensive. I had to do a crash course in HTML to build my site.
If you contact their staff you will have to send dozens of emails to get any response. Their staff are trained to frustrate you until you quit contacting them. If they do reply they will make you feel inadequate. They NEVER answer your questions.
I have wiped them out of my life - good riddance. But I am writing this in the hope that others will not be tricked like I and so many others have been by their deceptive practices and outright lies.
I cannot understand how a great country like the USA can allow people like this to keep going. How effective are the company laws in America? (The Better Business Bureaus seem like toothless tigers.) Storesonline and all its associated names need to be closed down for fraud. This would not happen in Australia.
I long for the day when the law catches up with these people. They deserve to go to jail for fraud and deception.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not be decieved by their slick talking presentation teams.

Cuaght in Brisbane as well
AUTHOR: Bill - (Australia)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, June 28, 2005
We also attended a conference on the Gold Coast and a second in Brisbane.
All went well looked good as we were wanting additional income to our pensions.
In January we were approached to for "special assistance" pay big money for tutoring to set up with offers of 1.5 million visitors. 1.5 million email campaign 4,400 links sounded extremely atractive.
The tutoring started well with JD but started going sour when we stated we wanted to aim for Australia first the world second.
Drop shippers outside the good old USofA do not exist. We were talked our of some products till we settled.
Out of the blue a redesign of the webpage, submit by Fax all information we had including Visa no. We refused on the visa.
Any question we were continually referred to the "Tutorials" Video and "getting Started" but they did not have the answeres we wanted.
Now our emails are ignored, phones numbers do not answered.
The positive is we learnt a lot and whilst are on a slow start have found other sites that are less than $200.00 that do what we want. Costly learning curve but fortunately we can move forward.

Storesonline Stooges Monkeys - Call them what you want!

I filed the original report and just had a little look to see if anybody had added to the comments I made. here are my comments to what I read.
I have to say that I agree with Dennis from Ridge, New York.
My challenge was an OPEN challenge for ANYBODY to publish a URL of a successful Storesonline website. So, "Jeffrey" from Melbourne, "Virginia", Australia why don't you tell us the URL of your xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx website. You say you have 420 products and 600 pages. It sounds fantastic. LET'S SEE IT!
Please tell us the URL so we can all see it. It will improve your hits and you might even sell something. Is it a SECRET?
Er, by the way there is no such place as Virginia in Melbourne, Australia. I guess you would actually have to LIVE in Australia to know that.
My challenge remains. God, there's got to be somebody out there with a Storesonline site that wants us to see it. The challenge is still ON!

NICE TRY, Another useless rebuttal from a STORESONLINE MONKEY...

Did you really think we would fall for this??
WHERE IS THE WEB ADDRESS OF THIS GREAT WEBSITE??
Nice try but I believe if "RIP-OFF" edited your rebuttal, it would have put down on the bottom of report why the address was removed, they would not have put "X" in place of the address.
AMAZING HOW YOU CAN DO THIS WORLD-WIDE AND GET AWAY WITH IT.
Maybe some other country will have the balls to lock this carnival up.

Stores On Line Rebuttal .. smart enough not to fall for that ole chestnut!
AUTHOR: Jeffrey - (Australia)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, February 08, 2004
Much of what I read is basically true. Stores on line is difficult to deal with, they provide little help, much of the time seem not to have the ability to answer queries and never reply to the email queries.
Yes they over simplify the process during the seminars and the time frames are tomes for fairy tails. BUT, and this is a big BUT. What do you expect? Someone to make you money with no effort?
Building a business without hard work? I am glad to see all these complaints because if it were that easy then the web would have been long oversaturated. Anyone who goes to a SOL seminar and gives away thousands of dollars expecting some kind of lotto win is fooling themselves. I went in eyes wide open aware of the challange and also armed with a reasonable skill (no idea of the product that I would yet sell) in design and internet knowledge.
That in mind it took from August 2003 until Feb 1 2004 to get my site up and running with over 420 products and over 600 pages in total. It wasn't that hard but there was little help and max frustration in dealing with SOL but I did it and in the first week got over 300 hits. this was no thanks to SOL but only to my perseverence. That is the difference between a successful business and a bankrupt one.
I utilised their tutorials (which were invaluable in getting me successful and anything they had to write. They were claer in Melbourne Australia that this is not a get rich quick and not something that was guaranteed.
They are also clear that they can only do so much. What I didn't like was the follow up call trying to milk me out of more money through coaching. I am smart enough not to fall for that ole chestnut! If you want to see a successful site (that isn't Mormon related) chaeck out my site XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX which was built totally from SOL software. Beware that the merchant services take weeks to set up. I felt this was important as it is a balanced scenario.
