Qchex allowed Nigerian based representatives to open an account in my business name, using my bank account number, and wrote checks to unauthorized persons as if they came from us.

They have no desire or mechanism to check the authenticity of persons setting up accounts. This works hand in hand with the scam programs that are now operating worldwide.

Channel 10 news in San Diego is reporting that the Federal Trade Commission is taking legal action against Qchex. The FTC filed a lawsuit asking a judge to stop Qchex from "engaging in unfair acts or practices". The lawsuit accuses Qchex of taking money from bank accounts without the account holder's authorization or knowledge.
