I forgot to look up rip-off report and got involved with an awful scam by what appears to be an outfit that has many identities and sets up scams by getting lots of their names on a price comparison network with lots of great "reviews." I am very suspicious of these reviews now.

I have been unable to leave a review since it seems impossible to log in to their price compare site, Every Price.com. Also there are legitimate sites like B&H Photo (love them but they charge real prices--and Amazon is there too, of course with higher prices than the fake prices offered by these awful companies, which seem to all be one big company anyway.

When I would not buy the $185 memory card (with a speicial $100 off) for the Canon PowerShot SD800-IS Digital camera, they said there is no card bundled with this camera. Everyone else on line appears to include a 16MB card that I already know can take only 4 high resolution pictures.

When I called to find out about this, I was on hold for 25 minutes without anyone picking up. If you try to call the main number they switch you either to a salesman or to a number that rings forever. When I waited once again for 30 minutes I got an amazing young man who immediately insulted me for my willingness to cancel a camera deal over a $1.65 card.

When I would not be talked out of it, he told me I was clearly an unhappy person without friends because I was angry. I asked about his psychology degree and psychic ability. Well, he got tired of insulting me when I simply agreed with all of his insults, and he finally said he refunded my money. I got an email to that effect.
I cannot believe I had to spend so much of my time and energy fighting with someone of such questionable character.

We will see if I get my refund.
