This is one of the largest MLM scams .  they sucker you in telling you they are 100 a GREEN co and the P&G are their competitor as well as a few others. They make you watch 4 semi long videos after they sucker you in to making either a 35 or 70pt committment per month OR the director suckers you into a larger home conversion package that runs $200+ plus your monthly commitment then on top of that it is either $29.95 to join or $1 depending if they are running a special.

then as soon as you join they want you to place your first order and that can be $60 plus shipping and handling then you have to place a backup order.

For every person you bring to the co that signs up you are paid $25 then you get 7% of what they spend.

Their prodoucts are nothing but junk.... they tell you their hair care is compared to high end salons. their miner line cant even be shipped to calif.  You are told you can cancel but if you do the executive director will give you grief cause they loose their bonus, also if you have money coming to you they wont pay you cause you did not meet the min 35pt requirement when you cancelled.

they harrass you with emails and calls begging you to come back.  I  have even told the person who signed me up it was a MLM and she was like Nooo we are different we are like costco or sams.

I would compare their makeup to what a mortuary uses on a dead body

stay away from this company  they need to have a major class action lawsuit started from everyone they scammed

Very strange report, as it's not true

AUTHOR: Sherry - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, March 30, 2017

I am not sure why this person claims it's hard to stop your preferred memebership.  Melaleuca is JUST a preferred shopping club, direct to the manifacture, who sells green products (which means they have removed harmful chemicals).  You can buy from Meleleuca without preferred membership status, and purchase at a retail rate. Or you can sign up, and get the discounted preffered rate.

I signed up, became a customer, found products in therir story that I love.  I then referred some people to shop at Melaleuca to shop.  OK  We know we will not like all the products in a store, we don't typically like all the products in any store we go to, but we sometimes find our favorites in a store.

If you no longer want to shop as a preferred customer, you easily go into your account, submit a request for a cancellation from the preffered status, print and sign a form and send it in. That's is it!  So I am really confused about the claim in it being hard to "cancel".

It's a shame, as I have had a great experience with Melaleuca.

If not a SCAM, why so difficult to cancel?

AUTHOR: markmil1 - (USA)

Any legitamate business, you can call and cancel your orders.  I've called, sent in letters and called again.  Sending another letter along with cc'ed the BBB.  For a consumer to have to go through this says they are doing everything they can to keep afloat.  Nothing legitimate about this type of practice.

Go Sell Your Dream™

TODAY WE ARE happy to announce a monumental legal victory for Mother Jones: A judge in Idaho has ruled in our favor on all claims in a defamation case filed by a major Republican donor, Frank VanderSloot, and his company, Melaleuca Inc. In a decision issued Tuesday, the court found that Mother Jones did not defame VanderSloot or Melaleuca because "all of the statements at issue are non-actionable truth or substantial truth." The court also found that the statements were protected as fair comment under the First Amendment.

√≡Ultimately, ‘As I See It’ ∑∞ºº-Δ=Melaleuca is an ingenious fraud/ pyramid scheme. Based on (16) years of being sucked in it – and squeezed out of it. I’m feeling, thinking, and believing… I was outed by this cultish pyramid scheme mainly because I was a noncompliant whistleblower. Exposing Melaleuca’s true “Endless Chain Pyramid Scheme Business Model, and it’s “ScammY, Deceptive Illegal Practices”
However, what really chaps my *** is > Melaleuca’s repeated leveraging of our legal system by means of political force and owning it. Respectfully. Despicable and indeed Unconscionable,.. the fairy tail/deception must end. check it!
It’s no wonder a MLM/pyramid scheme owner. can become a Billionaire… when he’s buddies with the AG’s office, the office held to protect and serve the consumer!! “Sketchy at best”

Melaleuca is one of the Best Companies to buy from!

AUTHOR: tsw - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, January 13, 2015

SO HOW IS A MEMBERSHIP COMPANY LIKE MELALEUCA A SCAM? YOU GET A MEMBERSHIP FOR $1.00 - $29.00 1ST YEAR AND RENEW FOR $10.00 A YR. IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO SPEND $50-$60 P/MTH ON STUFF YOU WILL NEED ANYWAY, YOU WILL NOT QUALIFY FOR THE SUPER DISCOUNTED PRICE ON PRODUCTS, YOU CAN STILL BUY FROM MELALEUCA AT RETAIL PRICE - SO WHERE IS THE SCAM? YOU HAVE CHOICES!

ISN'T THAT WHAT COSTCO OR SAMS CLUB DOES?

SAMS AND COSTCO CHOOSES TO USE A DIFFERNT BIZ MODEL FROM MELALEUCA THEY MARKET THROUGH PAID ADVERTISING ON TV, MEDIA, RADIO AND SO FORTH, WHILE MELALEUCA USES EXCLUSIVE WORD OF MOUTH REFFERALS AND PAY THE INDIVIDUALS THAT DO THE WORK. WHEN LAST HAS SAMS OR COSTCO DONE THAT FOR YOU?

SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE A HATER OF MELALEUCA'S BIZ MODEL! AND SO IT BECOMES A SCAM?

WHAT A "CRABS IN THE BUCKET MENTALITY YOU HAVE"!!!

SO SAMS CLUB & COSTCO MUST BE A SCAM AND RIPOFF TOO, ARE THEY!!!

PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE THE REASON THE ECONOMY HEADS IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.

How To Suspend Your Melaleuca Account

AUTHOR: tnord - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, December 10, 2014
  1. Log into your Melaleuca Account.
  2. Hover Over  "My Account" (upper right corner), slide down and click on "View All"
  3. Click on "Other Options" (either on bottom of left side column or bottom of center list.
  4. Click on "Cancel Preferred Customer Benfits"
  5. Answer questions, done.

There are no "have-to's" in Melaleuca.  Quit the same day you opened your shopping account if you want.

Membership Guranteed money back for 4 months.  Product Guranteed for 2 months.  There is no reason you should have left unhappy.

"then as soon as you join they want you to place your first order and that can be $60 plus shipping and handling then you have to place a backup order."

Why would you join a shopping/product company if you were not going to use their product? - You don't pay for the backup order.

"stay away from this company  they need to have a major class action lawsuit started from everyone they scammed"

29 Year History - AAA Rating from the Better Business Bureau, Torch award from the United States Chamber of Commerce, CEO on Board of Ethics with the DSA, CEO met quarterly with Ben Bernanke, Owner just awared the National Horatio Alger Award, go to Melaleuca.com/awards for more information.

I am sorry that someone treated you unkind.  I waited 15 minutes for a coffee at McDonalds 2 days ago, I wasn't happy but I will give the next manager and a different McDonalds another shot.
