Just Brakes Overpriced Richardson Texas

I took my car to get an oil change for $37 bucks and $99 dollar brake pad that I was quoted on the phone.  I was contacted stated that I needed not the $99 brakes but some $200+ brakes.  I trusted the guy and said ok, I will pay the alomost $300 estimate he provided. I got there and the labor on the bill was almost $180 for pads and an oil change! My car is 11 years old and it still makes a sound when I drive it.

I am women in a new state who has no male or someone here with me that knows about cars. I talked to my brother who lives across the country, sent him a copy of the bill and he said I was taken advantage of.  Plus, I was in a minor fender bender earlier and that made my hood not close completly all the way, so you have to screw in down so it doesn't fly up when driving. They were aware of that and advised me they screwed it back but they did not. That last 2 places I had to do my oil change fixed it back properly with no problem.

I feel cause I was a women with an out of state plate they took advantage of me.  I plan on taking it to another place this weekend when I have money again to have it looked at again. I will not be going back and I will never refer them to anyone. I feel I was double charged since I was quoted 37 + 99 which is $136 plus tax.  What I got was @$293 bill! What a rip off. I was telling my friend about it and they stated they got scammed into paying over $80 bucks for an oil change! Never again will ever go there and business like this will not prosper in the long run.
