 On April 25, 2017 I received an Email informing me that I had over $2500 in College Financial Aid Refund money with my name on it, from the last year of college I had. Four checks total. I gave them my address and they said my checks would be there in 5-7 days. 2.5 weeks later I finally called them and informed them I never received them. I never heard back from them until I finally called them in June 1st and asked them to cancel the checks and direct deposit the funds into my own personal account and they said it would be deposited in 1-2 days. 4 days later No money! Instead Inreceived an email on June 4th that said they mailed me another 4 checks instead. But since we had suffered a fire at our apartment and we lost everything. We also lost our mailbox.

I called them on June 5th through June 10th and asked them each day to cancel those second 4 checks and have the funds transferred to my new BankMobile Vide checking account instead. I decided to start an account with them because I started to realize that these guys were going to give me the cold shoulder because I was not a current member to their bank. So I started a checking account. So after talking to 14 different representatives with BankMobile Vibe as well as 2 Supervisors, I was told that the checks were canceled and to expect the funds deposited into my account within 1-2 days. It never happened.

It has been now 1.5 months and I still have not receive my money. I have sent countless emails and called countless times. I even spent 2.5 hours on the phone on hold one day this last week. I am calling a lawyer on Monday to see if I have a case against this company. I'm tired and we have no house to live in since a Lithium Ion battery exploded in our apartment and destroyed everything. Me and my fiancé need this money badly. I would highly highly HIGHLY advise to stay away from these guys. They are a scam and I am working to have The Art Institute cancel all further business with them by starting a petition. This is how serious I am about this company.
