Gamewar.com, Gamepal, Gamewar Gamewar stripped my GW2 account and never paid the $300 they promised! 1604 Gillette Rd, Pomona, CA 91765 Internet

Gamewar.com agreed to purchase my Guild Wars 2 account for $300 once I had filled out their online purchase form.  To verify the information on the account I was required to make a new email address, account name and password so they could access it.  They state they will not need your password until they actually purchase the account, this is only for verification...so they say. 

I received the $300 quote and order# on 9-16-2014 and after reading their onine policy I figured it would take a few days.  Well after 4 days of no response, I decide to send an email to them or try to reach them through their online live support.  I found out that the online live support is automated as the real time agent is always helping others...haha.  Also, they will sell premium customer support on this same page full of support options that do nothing or are completely ignored.  I did find that in rare occasions, they say it may take up to a week to process the account.  I check their status page and it still to this day says processing.  Figure I'll wait the week and send a few more emails from every source they have available.

I had also tried to access the account and found they had actually changed my password.  As I have time I try to get my account back, since I'm thinking they scammed me bigtime at this point.  Thankfully with all the security measures I had in place, I was able to finally get my account back.  I log in only to find that they had sold everything not bolted down and took the over 900 gold out of the account.  They werent' quite finished as I saw some more gold on the aution house from selling my misc. goods.  I really have no idea how much they got off the account, since I had 2 million karma, 400 gems, 900+ gold, all kinds of exotic gear, boosts, crafting mats, etc....

It's really sad, as I spent 2 years and over 1500 hours building this account, only to waste my time going through all Gamewars hurdles to sell the account and just get completely robbed blind instead.  I still have never received any correspondence from this company.  I tried every resource possible and multiple times to contact them regarding this matter.  Nada, zip, zero, although they will make you do all the work for them as they quickly sell off your valuables without so much as a thank you for allowing us to rob you blind!

I'll contact the FTC, BBB, etc..too, but can someone tell me how this company is allowed to stay in business just blatantly stealing from people like this?  They are making millions of the selling off virtual goods theft.

I feel bad for the younger kids that just turn a blind eye to this stuff happening, because you can't complain to Anet the developer of the game.  They would just shut the account down and this company knows this. 

Gamewar.com is guilty of fraud.
