I bought a laptop battery from ESPOW International Ltd (this is where the payment went) via website www.s****.> The company did not answer any of my emails.

This company is also listed on their websites as:
Zanut Limited, UK, Unit 1, 1000 North Circular Road, London, Nw2 7JP (Warehouse address), tel: 020-81337743 (there is only an answering machine)

with registred company details: ZANUT LIMITED, C/O LIU'S ACCOUNTANCY, 1ST FLOOR WEST 52 SHAFTESBURY AVENUE, LONDON W1D 6LP, Company No. 06550040.)

This company runs many many battery websites. Here are just some with co.uk. domains. They link to other .com websites. This is a total SCAM, do not buy batteries from them.

All these websites look totally different, except when you come to the cart to pay for the goods. All the websites are registered by company: Power Battery Inc, RM. 802 Landmark north,39 LUNG SUM AVENUE, SHEUNG SHUI, N.T., Hong Kong and the IP location is in USA.

The laptop battery ordered still not arrived.

My mail was working all the time, even if the company claims that they could not deliver emails to me. All other mails were received without any problems, also the bank confirmation of the payment made to Espow company.

They sent me emails (apparently sent to me) attached in one email. All I can say is that these emails have some strange properties and they probably were never sent anywhere.

The company never confirmed an order after ordering.

The company really started taking seriously this issue only when I've gone on the internet.

The company made a refund so for me this issue is resolved. How much time and nerves this cost me is another story.


My advice to anyone ordering over the internet: be careful where you are ordering and check everything you can about the seller!
I am a regular internet shopper and this is the first bad experience I had.

Moreover, we are an international company that has warehouses and offices located overseas in US, UK and some other European

countries. Most orders are dispatched to our customers from our local warehouse, but we could not exclude the possibility that a few items

may suddenly run out of stock. If that happens, we will flexibly send the item from our other warehouses in hope that our customers receive their orders soon.

To whom it may concern,

This is the customer service representative from Espow. We are regreted our customer had misunderstanding and confusion against us. We noticed that the message was posted by a customer from Slovenia. Actually, we have a very deep impression upon this customer. We did receive his first email enquiring about the order status on 13, July, he wrote as below:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Last week I ordered a battery for a laptop and I have not received any confirmation from your company yet. The payment has been made on 9.July 2009. Transaction details enclosed (pls see the attachement). I would be grateful for your confirmation of the order and approximate dispatch/delivery date. Many thanks.

Then we replied his email and inform the order status to him that day. We said:

Your order has been shipped out and the tracking number is RA946054818HK, which could be tracked at http://app3.hongkongpost.com/CGI/mt/genresult.jsp. It shows like this: The item (RA946054818HK) left Hong Kong for its destination on 13-July-2009. The delivery may take about 7 to 14 days. Could you be so kind to wait for a few more days? You will surely receive it soon.

Unfortunately, it seems the customer's emailbox could not successfully receive emails because he sent another email to us on 20, July still asking for order status. So we replied him email again by three different email addresses (service@espow.ca, preferred.cs@espow.com and another email address). It seems the buyer still could not receive our emails. Maybe this is where the misunderstanding happened. When the buyer placed the order, he did not leave his phone number, so we will also be unable to call him.

We are really sorry for the inconvenience the customer have exprienced, but we just want to emphasize that we are not scam at all. We have been doing business for many years with honesty. We cherish every customer and have been trying our best to provide the best customer service and products for our customers.
