I had won(?)an auction,on ebay, a sony f717 digital camera on november 2003 and this company has yet(july 2004) to supply the camera bought or return the money given him.

I have joined a yahoo group that is made up of 31 very upset customers and of that group only one person has received their money back.The bulk of the group has had very little posts from this company and are looking at making a claim in small claims court.This company has been investigated by the local police service but have decided this company is not fraudulent but is certainly a bad business and suggest that everyone make claims in small claims.

I can only suggest that if anyone plans on doing business with this company that they find some way of picking up the product before paying it.This company does not make it easy to do that and i know there are lots of other companies out there that will actually supply what has been paid for.

the silence at digital moose inc

I have received the following update,in terms of the company,and it would appear the company has no plan to return the monies given them.This company has another associated company who also is very silent(lounge potato).Anyway here is the latest from digital moose.

Unfortunately I was the victim of a bad car accident recently and had my vehicle written off.

While I am being reimbursed by the insurance company, there are many costs associated with this process that I must incur in the meantime.

Once I am reimbursed for these costs (sooner the better) the installment payments will continue where they left off.

Since DMI is no longer bringing in revenues due to the company shut-down, I have personally been putting funds towards the installment payments utilizing income from a full-time job I am involved in elsewhere. Since I am not able to work due to my injuries, this has obviously affected my immediate income.

I do realize that many will view this as a breach of contract however this is something that I must accept as I have no other options at this time.

I apologize to all of you whom are affected by this and will update you once things are back to normal.

Please do not email me back with complaints as there is nothing more I can do in the meantime.

If, however, you have questions regarding this matter, please let me know.

I have received a scheduled re-payment plan from digital moose inc,but am waiting some answers,in terms of the language,of this plan.What I have asked for are specific dates for the payments and why I need to release DMi, it's directors,and all companies associated with it from any legal obligations.

At this point,I am still waiting for some kind of response and notice that there has been a rebuttal that does not deal with the issues at all.

Thank you for this forum,this seems to be the only way this company will response,even if it is just empty air in it's part.
