 I submitted a order with APMEX  "Rare Metals Buying Company" on June 22nd, during in the first 5 hours of the order or within it I e-mail the company saying "I wanted to cancel the order" 

From their e-mail response "Good Morning, Should you elect to cancel your order, you must do so during normal business hours of 7:00 5:00 CST Monday Friday.  All cancellations are subject our market loss policy plus a $35.00 (USD) cancellation fee. Please keep into consideration that a cancellation may not be to your benefit. 

I sent them a e-mail after this okay I wanted to cancel this order but I never got the e-mail response back, I sent again after awaiting another 2-3 hours wondering whats going on, without any effort I was yet to get any response. I called up my bank and verified the transaction was approved and sent out. From there I knew something was up they blatantly ignored my request and did not show any effort in their so called customer service to help me.   " I called them back , out of my own pocket since I am calling long distances from Iraq and they said I should of read their policy about I need to call them back for me to cancel this.

Okay no problem, but wasn't this told to me in the first place in the first correspondences? After a long debated conversation with their customer services also hearing them mocking about me in their background "about my stuttering" and then forwarding me to their manager of customer services who had no way to or wanted to fix my problem had to move to another person that was supposed to be in charge of their cancellation services which took me about over dozen of times to get ahold of, which who was rude and don't care about ripping off people who served their country so they can be fat and lazy and rip off other hard working americana. 

When cancelation went through, they said on this day of the 23rd. They waited till the lowest point in the market to actually complete the order on the 27th, which I found out about this when I called back to APMEX with the status of my order having my bank security rep, making sure she was a witness to see they were going to do the refund. APMEX said the refund is being sent via check to your post office box " which I paid with my credit card" and also said I will only be getting back 590 dollars from the 650 original purchase. Please keep in mind I never had the product in hand, the product never left their hands. Out of nothing I lost 75.00. Thank you for making it worth wild, knowing Im risking my life for people like you, and if you want to know where I'm station at , Im in Northern Iraq at FOB warrior. 

Please be warned about APMEX deceiving procedures, if it can happen to me, it will happen to you. They will probably respond back I should of read their agreement which is hidden in layers of thin small lines, but they don't want to help you if you don't see it, and they will find any means to take more money away from you.   

By submitting this , I hope this will get around, to show people what happen to me, and how they will try to use ever single loop hole to get money out of your wallet.

If the person testing your silver is using acid that has been opened a while or otherwise past its prime, then the test result could easily be foggy or difficult to interpret.

Additionally the 1g weight difference could be the calibration of the scale used.

I have purchased silver rounds from Apmex, Gainesville, Provident, and other large net companies and never found any significantly underweight.

I'm thinking that the potential buyer you were dealing with was inexperienced.

I have ordered at least 10 times from them where each order  is from 600-1000 dollars and never had a problem. Until I went to sell a couple of my one ounce silver rounds I had bought from them. One of the rounds that had a Indian on one side and on the other it said one troy ounce fine silver .999 well it weighed short a whole gram short so the numismatists said they would not buy it because they did not think it was real. So I had them grind a hunk off the side they tested it with acid and it barely tested positive and was very foggy. So one if it was .999 pure then why was the test so foggy and so bad no one would buy it and two why was it short a whole gram, Also there was NO MINT MARK on the round.
