ASC Inc has been sending me emails for the past week or two saying I have not paid my loan off for $980.00 and that they are taking me to court for it. When I asked for a number I wasn't given one to contact someone other than email. I have not taking out a loan for $980.00.

ACS is running a well known, long-running collection scam. Go to the FTC.gov website and look up financial scams.

There is no legitimate collector that would have you give them funds with a gift card. Follow the steps on the FTC website, but it is unlikely that you will get the funds back that you just sent them yesterday.
