Someone in the U.S. and N.Y.S. Departments of Transportation need to investigate the newly created veritable speed trap of the West Side Highway that has been created after COVID when the roads were virtually closed.

After they were opened for business, the following new issues were discovered by every day motorists, each of which has resulted in skyrocketing tickets to raise revenue for the greedy politicians running NYC government, such as:

(1) stop lights are purposefully placed 100 feet beyond the traffic lines where pedestrians cross, thus forcing people to either stop prematurely causing accidents, or drive up the traffic light this cutting passengers off;

(2) the speed limit has been reduced on this HIGHWAY to less than 30 miles per hour - a lawnmower can drive faster than this;

(3) idiots are double parked on both sides of the highway lines, both coming and going, with their hazard lights sometimes, but the NYPD traffic cops do nothing to get them to move along, thus also creating accidents and bottlenecks for traveling cars on the West Side Highway;

(4) 90% of all street lights before entering Manhattan are OFF - that is, the bulbs don’t work, thus forcing commuters to drive in pitch black darkness all the way through Westchester County all the way into Manhattan, and vice versa.
