I found this spa with a photo ad for thread lifting. The photo in their ad looked amazing and I thought if this woman could look this good after, I definitely could because my face was not as bad. I had jowls that needed tightening and my neck needed tightening. I am going to try to just highlight my experience.

The before and after photo that they had the person doing my threads did not do, but found that out later. I saw more photos of the before and after to notice that the before her ear in the photo of the area they say was done with threads looked normal. The ear in the after clearly had a scar from a face lift. This was a facelift before and after that they were using.

The original threading went good and Katie seemed to have known what she was doing and was gentle. It really was not very painful. Her and I talked about me needing cheek filler and temple filler and we agreed to wait till we saw how my face looked after I healed from the threading. Two weeks later I went back bc I had a round circular bulge on each side of my jowl just off to each side of my chin. I still had some bruising and they told me to wait two more weeks. The Office Manager then said she would charge me to have more threads put in to fix that. And that I would also need the cheek and temple filler to help it. I said ok to the charge for the filler, but I was charged originally for the area for the threads and how the threads were placed left these round bulges. I said if they were going to charge I was just going to leave and not pay anything else. So then she tells me she is going to give me a DEAL and not charge me for the thread touch up and then quoted me $1100 for the filler. I went back in 2 weeks and the bulging was worse. My neck was starting to wrinkle again as well, but Katie said to leave my neck alone. The Office Manager and Katie said I needed filler in my jowls now as well as my temples and cheeks. She quoted me $2800 for the fillers in both spots. I said no, let's do the jowl area since that was the area that was really needed to correct the bulges and I could come back for the cheeks and temples. I am so glad that  I did not let her do my cheeks and temples. The filler she did in my jaw line has so many lumps the size of blueberries that you can connect the dots. It starts by my ear on my face above my earlobe and goes down to the jaw line. This is on both sides of the face. It looks lumpy and feels lumpy and is very painful. I look botched! When she was doing the threads she apparently threaded into my lip as well. I did not notice right away till it started burning and I had already left. She had to have known she did that because it had to have bled. So I have a cut about an  of an inch from the corner of my mouth down my face. It is pretty deep because a PA saw it and thought it might need to be sutured. I cannot believe they let me walk out looking like this. The spa director Tara saw me bc she gave me Arnica cream because I did not want Arnica pills. The desk clerk and office manager who took my payment for the filler saw me. I had several calls with the office manager and she just continues to say I need to give time to heal and this is all normal. The injector didn't massage the filler in and probably why I have these lumps. These lumps are right at the injection sites. Also, it is not normal to thread a needle into someone's lip and break the skin. I even asked if they had a doctor that I could see and I was told to let myself heal.

I had a consultation today with a Plastic Surgeon and the DR stated that the threads were placed incorrectly causing the bulging that appeared after the first thread lift that caused me to go back on 8/24. He said the bulging is not going away after my bruising is gone. I already had figured that out bc each day it actually looks worse as the swelling and bruising goes away and you can really notice it again. He said the filler should have never been placed to try to correct it, bc it was not going to do anything to help at that point. I have a bigger mess than what I started with going there. I had signs of aging, I now look botched. I have a few more consults yet to go on professional opinions. The owner of the spa will not refund my money at all. She laughed at me! I am disputing this with my bank and I am hiring an attorney. I was brought in with a false ad and Katie (the woman who did my threads and filler) never touched that woman in the ad. The owner Tara has no empathy, and this is how you will be treated.
