kankakee, IllinoisCIC Credit Monitoring Service and consumerinfo.com are part of Experian and are a complete sham! Attempts to track down intelligent life within any of these companies is an exercise in futility.
I found consumerinfo.com in a google search for credit report. As part of the application, Now I find a $9.95 charge for an automatically renewing membership. When I called them, I got only a recording and then the phone hung up. I'm now working on a refund through my card company and hoping to keep others from falling into this trap.
