Background:
I had signed up with a company named Real Social Dynamics, who teach men how to connect with women in the dating scene on deeper levels, or to pick up on women for lack of a better word. The theme of their product deals with what is known as material,' or canned stories, routines, and opening lines used to engage groups of people with. The course basically consisted of going to public venues with the instructors for most of the day and ending usually at 2:30 3:00 at night/early morning. During this time, they would force me into groups of people.

I was clearly tricked into this by their marketing techniques and false internet advertising. I had signed up for their most expensive package which included three days and nights of personal one-on-one coaching.

Before signing up, I carefully read the itinerary on their web site. Their introduction and main pages state that students will learn:

o How to Convert the Girl You've Been Particularly Interested In, From Friendship to Intimacy.

o How to Properly Use Phone Conversations with Women to Your Advantage.

o What Works in the Field and How You Can See a LIVE Demonstration of Successful Approaches with a Well-Trained Wingman.

o How to Plan Dates That are Cost-Free, and Far More Fun For the Girl Than Any Standard Date.

o How to Cultivate an Endless Repertoire of Humour and Conversational Topics.

o Field-Tested Tips for Bars, Colleges, and Even the Most Exclusive Social Circles.

o This is direct instruction of exactly how to do it. This has never been done before. Nobody else has the ability nor skill to attract women with this level of consistency or predictability.

o How to "play hard to get", and "be the prize". Its one thing to say it, but very difficult in practice.

o How to create COCKY & FUNNY material on the fly. Also, learn hundreds of direct examples of cocky / funny humour (several hours worth), and many derivations and subforms of cocky / funny humour.

o How to immediately profile women's personalities, to know what kind of approach they would be most receptive to. Many guys are not completely sure about what approach to use on any particular girl.

o How to use body-language to attract, and calibrate body-language immediately to the type of girl and situation that you're in, to attract her immediately in every situation. It's important not only to recognize the importance of body language and how it's used to attract women.

o How to read body-language and verbal subcommunication of all women, to know when they're attracted to you, and when they'll be receptive to escalation. Never take another rejection - it is not necessary when you have the ability to read the situation with precision.

o How to avoid getting into traps of cocky verbal sparring and flirting, or being entertaining, and escalate the interaction to a more intimate level.

o How to make use of social dynamics, in a way that's guaranteed to make women approach YOU, several times a day.

o How to approach girls while they're walking or on the move, in a way that they'll stop immediate and talk to you - even girls who are walking past you in the opposite direction.

o How to get access to and work the most exclusive venues, where the most stunning women are found.

o How to tell stories, conduct conversations, and never be short of what to say.

o How to quickly adjust to girls who are initially unresponsive to your approach, so that you never have to deal with a girl that doesn't want to talk to you - get them interested in you immediately.

o How to befriend the peer group of attractive girls quickly, so that they'll be supportive and encourage the two of you to get together.

o How to strategically meet girls while you're with your own friends, and strategies for working as a team.

o How to use conversational topics that will convey all of your best qualities, in the shortest period of time, while simultaneously increasing her attraction.

o How to rapidly build rapport and connection.

o How to comfortably escalate physical contact, in a way that the girl will find comfortable.

o How to use phone conversations to your advantage. It's not only important to know how to engage women in real life. Learning to work the phone is a massively important piece of the puzzle, which often goes overlooked.

o Learn to convert any phone number into a get together, even if the girl is busy or not initially interested.

o How to get girls that are shy on dates or on the phone to open up.

o How to plan dates that are cost-free, and great date ideas that are far more fun for the girl than any standard date. Learn what sort of plans will interest girls to come out the most, and how to manage your dating life conveniently.

o How to make girls comfortable being alone with you - "going back to your place", etc.

o How to get women so sexually excited that puts you in total control.

However, during the course, none of the above points were covered.

Second, the instructors themselves did not display any kind of mastery that the itinerary outlines. The instructors could talk to women and get their attention, but that was the extent of their objective knowledge. Sometimes, while running their material, the people would simply be non-responsive and have confused looks on their faces. On the first night, we approached a group of one guy and two other girls. The instructor Owen (PKA TylerDurden) did manage to isolate the first girl while I interacted with the two friends. During that time, he was trying hard to convince her to come back to the house with us, using normal everyday, yet hopeless rhetoric. Given that this woman wasn't even very attractive, I was surprised to find us going home by ourselves.

Third, none of what they did was objectively result-oriented. Almost every approach would consist of me going up to a group, stating a conversational opening line or story, and then the instructor I was with would come to us 30 seconds later and continue the conversation. Afterwards the instructors would try to drive the conviction into me that the girls were so interested in you based on even a frivolous small glance or hesitation on their part which could have signified many different things. Then the cycle repeated.

Fourth, the course was unorganized. On the second day Nick Kho and another instructor gave me the first lecture based on a cheat sheet' they handed out. This document was filled with abbreviations, acronyms, and incomplete sentences that assumed that the reader had a knowledge of what all these meant. Through the lecture, he would explain once what they signified, but afterwards did not volunteer to go through it with us again. Furthermore, I was delayed three times on a time span of two months in excess of the original time I planned on taking it.

By the end of the course, not only did my attitude or knowledge of social dynamics not change at all, but on the contrary, after seeing a lack of both professionalism and effectiveness on the instructors' behalf, my beliefs in socializing worsened. I can honestly say that I am both worse off and monetarily down after taking this class. They did not demonstrate mastery of the skills they offer to teach. They are frauds with cunning advertising. I did not see any results on their behalf or my own.

The truth about RSD

AUTHOR: Phil - ()

POSTED: Saturday, August 22, 2015

I'm gonna keep my comment quite short:

Several years ago I was a really shy person and could never talk to someone I didn't know not to speak of a girl I found pretty.

I have never bought an RSD product. I just followed their free content on the internet and what people mostly do is to just simplify what RSD is teaching to a point where it is ridiculous.

Something about myself(I'm not trying to brag, just pointing out some things):

Through the teachings of RSD I have not only quit smoking and stopped drinking, I've also become way more hard working. I do not only study foreign languages at university level and speak about four to ten languages depending on what the standard for speaking a language is RSD also helped me to become a more authentic person which was crucial to dating the girls that I've been dating. A few years ago I couldn't even look a girl I liked into the eyes and had it not been for RSD, that would still be the case. Also, through what RSD taught me I have become a person that most of my friends describe as a very confident and extremely social and authentic person. RSD does tell you that you can't get every girl. What they do tell you is that if your willing to work on yourself, go out and improve your social skills/game you can get the types of girls that you want in your life. You also can't get laid every night and they talk about that too.

Finally social skills/game is a skill. And a skill is only developped over time and with hard work. If you train with Mike Tyson once you're not gonna be as good as him in boxing but can definately learn something and improve tremendously in a session with him. Same goes for good PUAs. They can help you and guide you but you yourself have to work and develop the skills.

So, thanks you RSD for changing my life for the better although I have never even bought a single one of your products.

Yours sincerely,

Phil

Alex Treasure RSD Rip-off

AUTHOR: Davo - ()

POSTED: Sunday, July 13, 2014

Similar thing happened with me, I attended an RSD bootcamp on June 2013, in Sydney, taken by Alex Treasure of RSD. To cut to the chase, I basically paid 2000 USDs for Alexander to come to Sydney for a holiday. His instruction and teaching whilst out was non-existent, and his attitude is characterised by arrogance and a sense of indifference. Throughout the bootcamp, the students had to go out of their way to find him whilst he was hitting on girls at the club, his argument was that he was "demonstrating" for students his "scientific method" for attracting women, which was kind of funny, since most of the time he was nowhere near the students, nor did anyone ask him to "demonstrate". Anyway, Alex Treasure is just some manipulative ego-maniac who lives in the sheltered world of pick-up, surrounded by "Yes men" RSD fan boys. What surprises me is how Alex, purports to have discovered the "Scientific method" for attracting women based on his education in psychology, when in-fact he didn't complete his studies and dropped out of uninversity. I also attended an Alex in-field footage Hotseat, which basically consists of Alex buying girls drinks, until one of them is either drunk or dumb enough to go "home" with him. What never ceases to amaze me about RSD, is how they have created a cult-like worship of their ideologies, and drones upon drones of RSD fan boys who accept whatever is said by RSD instructors like mindless zombies. What most of men in the community have been taken in by, is the idea that attracting women is a "skill-set", where your appearance, success and financial security has absolutely no influence on a women's level of attraction towards a man. RSD fan boys live and hope that someday they'll develop the "skill-set" where they can "pick-up" any hot girl walkig down the street, regardless of their life situation. As a man I can see the appeal of this belief; but also just how ridiculous it is as well. RSD insinuates that women have an "On switch", and if your "skill-set" is good enough, then you can attract any women you want, even if you're short, fat and socially inept. Instead of saying something along the lines of "Practice talking with women more, and be more sociable" which will inevitably lead to better results; RSD replaces commonsense with psycho-babble and new age spiritualism, maintaining success with women derives from "being in state", "being non-reactive" etc., and other pseudo-pop-spiritualism expressions. What most of their fans refuse to believe is that women have autonomy, and are capable of thinking for themselves, and the idea of "game being a skill-set" is a marketing gimmick perpetraited by RSD in order to sell their bootcamps, DVDs and various other programs. I posted a negative review about my bootcamp experience on the forum not long after June 2013, that was subsequently deleted by RSD. I suggest people steer clear of RSD bootcamps, especially the ones' taken by Alex Treasure, he simply doesn't give a crap, and prefers to pick fights with his meat-head friend Sean. It'll be interesting to see what would happen him Alex and his mate Sean picked on guys who knew how to fight back! The truth is that most people who take bootcamps with Alexander them lack assertiveness, allowing him to utilize his pseduo-logic to manipulate people. I will be posting more about RSD and Alexander in the future, and also screen shots of my review that got deleted from their website.

Forget About A Refund

AUTHOR: Tom - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, April 17, 2011

The bottom line when I went, was that the instructors themselves were not able to get hotties.  So I doubted their ability to teach me, that which they did not know, or could not demonstrate.  I'm not saying that none of them have ever been with a hottie in their entire life, but they all failed miserably on the very few approaches that I beggged them to do.  Therefore, their "methods" certainly couldn't be characterized as "consistent", as they emphasize in their marketing.

Anyway, I asked for a refund, and was denied.   After that, I was just sent to voicemail from then on.  They seemed very slippery slash slimy, to try to sue for the money, so I just punted, and let them keep my money.  I'm still bitter about it, but a lawsuit seemed futile.  Maybe when they get a little more legitimate, with more assets, all of the people like myself that were denied refunds, can do a class-action lawsuit.  I would be willing to spearhead that, although I'd have to double check on the statute of limitations, by the time they have actual assets.

So, I guess it's just important to realize that their "money-back guarantee" is a COMPLETE sham!  From what I personally experienced, and what I have read here and elsewhere, under no circumstances will you ever get your money back, if you request that they honor the "money-back guarantee".  And good luck suing a cell phone number and fake office address.

I'm not saying the whole thing is complete crap.  I'm just saying that it is maybe 2 stars, out of 5 stars.  But the fact that they don't honor their word, and have pretty much zero integrity, would probably make me give them 1 star.  I think Jlaix is pretty d**n funny sometimes, but  it just doesn't make up for the lack of integrity.

If you are considering doing it, offer to pay them after the bootcamp is over, and you are satisfied.  They probably won't go for it, so offer to have a neutral third-party hold the money in "escrow".  If they stand by their money-back guarantee, this should be possible.  Or just go in, knowing that the money-back guarantee does not really exist.  Or, possibly use your American Express card, since they generally side with the consumer on chargebacks.  I think Paypal generally sides with the consumer also.  But I don't know for sure, so buyer beware.

Time Will Tell...

AUTHOR: Alex - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, March 18, 2011

I'm sure that Real Social Dynamics has improved in some ways since this report was first written, but any company is only as good as its leadership. It was very low-class for Nick Kho to say that the original poster stole the check from his mom and didn't want to be grounded, and probably untrue.

Does anyone actually believe that this grown adult would actually tell RSD "hey guys, my mom is going to ground me, so if you don't give me money so that I can go see Tony Robbins I'm going to write a nasty Ripoff Report about you!" It's absurd, the owner of RSD (not an intern, not an instructor, but THE OWNER!) represented this here. Reread Nick's post and ask yourself if this is a person with whom you would like to do business...

My suspicion here is that the customer asked for a refund because he was dissatisfied, RSD refused his refund request for some reason, and he told RSD that he would share his story if they did not honor his refund request. And as soon as he did, Nick Kho jumps in to try and make him look stupid and embarrass him with the whole "mom's check/getting grounded" post instead of directly addressing the issue.

The refund request denials from RSD bootcamps are fairly common, and documented heavily on the (((Redacted)))website.

READ THE GAME

AUTHOR: Pavarotti - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, April 05, 2009

Seriously though guys, one of the things they say in the foundations bootcamp, as a bigtime excuse for guys who fail at pickup, is "I've never accomplished anything in my life, I hate myself, but I can't understand why I don't get this." Have any of you guys read Neil Strauss' book The Game? He talks bad about Tyler Durden the whole time, because they don't get along. But not because he doesn't have skills. Tyler caused trouble around the project hollywood house for Mystery and Style. They have resolved their issues now, but Style "Neil" say he has skills with women, and understands the game, No Doubt. And pickup isn't something that can be learned and applied without any practice. You can read all day about how to change the transmission in a car, but you need to actually DO IT to say that it's a skill of yours. With pickup, you need to be process oriented, you are trying to learn the SKILL of pickup, so you are going to get rejected, and that's how you learn. But once you learn, you won't get rejected, and can get the women you want. You guys obviously have some issues with quitting. Stop blaming everyone else, it's your fault you didn't learn from the bootcamp, not RSD. They have taught countless guys, who turned into masters.

Blueprint decoded

AUTHOR: Feliks - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 26, 2009

I'm very upset that the above comments are posted. I got my hands on the blueprint decoded audiobook, tyler's 4 day conference series. I'm a student( no money), so I don't like to pay for this stuff, lets just say I got it from my friend.

I'll tell you about the product later, but now I just wanted to say how I've changed from his advice, and that I'm confident, if I learned SO Much about success with women (and myself) from him speaking 19 or so hours, that he is good in the field.

simple

im very grateful i got my hands on the product, im a different person, thats why i bother now with this rebuttal. I have never seen him in the field , but I practiced what he taught and saw instant results. (i still need work/ practice for sure)

it seems to me his methods are not traditional pickup.
previous methods pull the women down from her pedestal and you step up.

He would probably say that there is no pedestal. its in your head.
with his seminar, i have learned to shed that which constrained my confidence, learned that there is no reason to fear an interaction and much more.

I cant say he doesnt have bad nights ( never seen him at all), but his philosophy of inner game, and self growth and change is really enlightening and worth the encounter

If you are looking for pick up lines, tricks and gimmicks, you might not find them from him. He will probably teach that you just need to be your confident happy self and that is what women are attracted to.

I hope i did not give too much away! Thanks Tyler.

Solution

AUTHOR: Co - (Belgium)

POSTED: Thursday, January 22, 2009

Real Social Dynamics is the company who has BY FAR the most negative feedback in the pickup community. A lot of their customers are not satisfied.

Most other pickup companies have only great reports (with sometimes one or two exceptions).

So if I want to take a workshop, I'll take that fact into consideration... I suggest everyone does the same.

Is This Nonsense?

AUTHOR: Alexander - (Germany)

POSTED: Saturday, December 23, 2006

Hey Guys, c'mon! Do you write these negative reports yourselves to get more Google hits? I wouldn't be surprised if Swingcat was in this, too - an old strategy from the entertainment business, where stars bad-mouth each other from time to time to stay in the press - since there is no bad press.

Anyone who has seen the RSD guys in action will know it is RIDICULOUS to say that they have no in-field skills with women. Like saying, Al Pacino can't act.

His mother freaked about a fraudulent check?

COME ON !!!

I have done an in-field workshop with RSD last summer in Amsterdam. I was amazed to meet the Master Tyler himself. That workshop was PHANTASTIC and made me a different person. My girlfriend hated it since I was then out of her control.

This year, I did a bootcamp in London which was still pretty good compared to all other lame workshops I have attended.

After that, I started getting phone#s from girls. A while later, I started getting REAL phone#s, LOL.

As to personal and business ethics, I don't really know, but I usually smell a rat when there is one and I haven't smelled any rats with RSD. My guess is, these guys are too smart to do rip-offs.

Real Social Dynamics is quite real.

AUTHOR: Affection - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 26, 2006

As a professional pickup artist and competitor to Real Social Dynamics, I've had the chance to meet and see several RSD instructors both in the classroom, in the field, and in out-of-work settings. Naturally I've also had similar experiences with many other talented pickup artists for comparison purposes.

The guys of Real Social Dynamics are, without a doubt, very talented individuals. Tyler in particular is perhaps one of the smartest guys I've met in a long time, and has a very firm grasp on what attracts women and what doesn't.

Quite simply, if a student does not benefit from a bootcamp, in my experience, it's usually because the student comes in with the attitude that they know everything, don't need help, and aren't willing to try new things -- but that the bootcamp should magically transform them anyway. You can see this in the initial report as the student is upset that there is *a* girl that Tyler talked to that he didn't take home. Learning pickup increases the success you have with women -- it doesn't make you infallible, and even master pickup artists can't get *every* girl.

Though it may be unusual for a competitor to come to another company's defense here on ROR.com, inaccurate reports like this hurt not only the target company but the industry as well. RSD has quality material and they deserve credit for that.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

The positive report was written by Owen Cook AKA Tyler AKA owner of RSD

AUTHOR: Bill - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 12, 2006

The positive post above about RSD has many of Tyler's signature persuasion techniques. He oviously wrote it.

Notice he is very careful to "pace" every objection from the initial review, allowing him to systematically diffuse criticisms. This is one his signature techniques, and his use of it is quite distinctive.

Anyone who has met Tyler, and listened carefully to his "Blueprint" would recognize this signature style.

Having never taken a bootcamp, I can't say one way or the other whether they can back up their claims. I would only warn those reading the "positive" rsd review to take it was a grain of salt.

And judging from their tactics of posting a fake positive review at all, it would make me suspicious of their business ethics.

Satisfied Customer

AUTHOR: Bill - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 17, 2006

I'd like to preface my comments by saying that one of the difficult and great things about ripoffreport.com is that anyone can say whatever they want and the person reported is left having to prove themselves.

This is great as victims shouldn't have to be afraid to speak up. It is bad, as whatever comments the owner responds with are already suspect, and anyone who has had a different experience with the company sounds like a crony.

I almost don't want to comment as my opinion will likely be dismissed by the hyperskeptical. But I feel I owe it to RSD to make my point heard.

I will also preface my comments by stating that my case may be unique as I attended one of the first of their "superconferences", and if I put myself in the shoes of someone who only went to a "boot camp", I think I can see where the experience could be much less fulfilling.

I was very fortunate to already be familiar with David DeAngelo's materials and KNOW him to be a stand-up guy. When he put his stamp of approval on RSD, that was enough for me. I was even more fortunate not to have read any reviews before signing up.

When I checked out their website, it had a slimy "used car salesman" pitch feel to it, which shook my resolve a bit, but I remembered thinking the exact same thing about DeAngelo's material before I was more familiar with the man and his mission. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went to see if they could help me do something I was unable to do for myself.

I happily can say they did so.

Ironically, in Oriel's list of claims on their website, the only one I didn't get a basic grounding and understanding in was ---
o How to get access to and work the most exclusive venues, where the most stunning women are found. --- which is bizarre, because we only had a two day superconference and three day boot camp. I find it hard to believe, even now on the other side of the weekend, that we were able to cover as much material as we did.

But beyond the material, the experience was what totally changed everything for me. I was pushed beyond my boundaries, outside of my comfort zone, pushed into conversations with people I didn't want to talk to, with girls and guys I wasn't interested in, with nothing to say at all, just being exposed to rejection after rejection and constantly being pumped up by my instructor on any little thing that went well in the interactions.

While all this is going on, my highly analytical mind was saying, "Enough with the bullshit. This isn't going well at all, stop pumping me up", while at the same time I was starting to see what he was getting at. The more numb I became to the rejections or reactions of the people I was talking to, the more the realization dawned on me that they weren't rejecting me... they were rejecting the fouled-up self-image I was presenting to them, the inner limiting beliefs that I was showcasing that I was forcing them to agree with. Every time I forgot how "lame" I am socially, I forgot to show them my "lameness" and saw them reacting entirely different than I'm used to. I saw them reacting to the guy I've wished I was and, as it turns out, the guy I actually am.

As soon as I learned to let the guy I am come out through all the ego defense mechanisms and limiting beliefs and self-lies, I was able to start applying some of the techniques they were teaching me, that I couldn't believe worked.

I was walking up to strangers and creating attraction, and not believing it while it was happening. I was having groups of women wanting more from me, dancing, touching, etcetera. I watched as the instructors around me did and said things that were absolutely off the wall, but in a way that was so on that I could see incredible women want them.

The experience of watching an unattractive man spout nonsense to a group of seven women and have them all looking like their going to swoon was one of the most bizarre things I've ever witnessed. I will always be able to look back at it, during moments of self-doubt and say, that's me sometime in the near future.

The most important result of taking RSD's course is that my roommate, co-workers, friends, and family see a difference in me. I deal with everyone different, I enjoy people more, I am happier with myself and I'm happier with women. This RSD course is designed to create pick-up artists, from the point of view of an outsider and is even used to bring in business, I think. But what the core effect of the course seems to be is to make you a better man, a better human, one that brings value to the world and to any interaction you enter into. And I am grateful. One of the most significant truths, and a sad one, is that men who stifle themselves (through fear of rejection) produce rejection through their incongruency. Rather than learn from the rejections they cause women to subject them to, they actually become bitter and misogynistic, as I myself was.

While I'm nowhere near where I'm heading, I now am starting to understand that people, especially women, didn't reject me because there's something wrong with me, but because I was not true to who I am. Some people WILL reject who I am, but that's an entirely different set of social dynamics, and one that I can actually handle.

So, if you are a good guy and want to like women and enjoy their company, but are unsuccessful doing so, I highly recommend you attend a superconference and a boot camp. And just for clarity, I will be posting these same comments on RSD's site and anywhere else I feel it's appropriate. I want people to get the help they need.

Anyone that is swayed not to take their course, due to some lame reviews, or even just due to their unfortunate timing in not having been exposed to the positive criticisms, I am sad for you. Especially since, if you're not coming from a position of trust like I was able to, you may find yourself easily turned away from their helping hand due to the cost of the course, the feel of their website and the comments of various others who may or may not have your best interests at heart and may or may not have the ability to critique honestly and objectively.

Good luck to you.

Bill

AUTHOR: Rick - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 13, 2006

I was under the impression, the guys at Real Social Dynamics is full of s**t. After few conversations with them, I also realized, These guys completely lack Integrity and Ethics in the business and the approach towards women. I am very happy for not signing up with these clowns. These reports are for real folks. Infact I have seen several posts across the internet as I was planning to take the work shop myself.

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff115620.htm

Search in google for real social dyanamics rip off.

If you are considering taking a RSD bootcamp, I urge you to read this review first:
if you like throwing money away, the RSD bootcamp may be for you.

Before you consider spending that $1500, I would suggest giving yourself a makeover, donating that money to the homeless, or hell, put it in a brief case, go to the center of your city, open it, and let it blow away in the wind. The money will be better off, trust me.

Hell, if you'd like, I can give you the exact same bootcamp experience for a mere $20.

AUTHOR: Nicholas - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, November 20, 2004

This is because Oriel (((REDACTED))) wrote a fraudulent check from his mother's account to pay for the Bootcamp. After his mom discovered this, she freaked out and threatened to ground him. Oriel threatened to make this post if he didn't get the money back plus additional money because he wanted extra money to buy clothes and attend a Tony Robbins Seminar. Oriel's report is not only fakeit has absolutely no validity.
